About Us

Welcome to Reverie Psychology

A boutique practice that is committed to understanding your therapy goals and using evidence-based approaches to help you achieve them. At Reverie Psychology, we view therapy as an act of self-care to slow down and check in.

We provide a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly about your concerns, work through your feelings, and find ways to strengthen your relationships.

We specialise in addressing a range of challenges including, but not limited to anxiety and stress, mood disorders, women’s mental health, adolescent mental health (ages 16+), relationship difficulties, and grief and loss.

We look forward to welcoming you to our practice.

Meet Your Psychologist

Caitlynn Ashton

As your psychologist, I prioritise creating a safe space for you to try new things, reflect, learn about yourself, explore, and above all, to feel heard and authentically supported.

I believe openness, flexibility, and humour are important in therapy to help you feel comfortable and free to be yourself. No matter what obstacles you encounter, I am committed to walking alongside you, offering guidance and support throughout the process.

I am an LGBTQI and neurodiversity inclusive practitioner, dedicated to providing a safe and affirming space for anyone seeking therapy.

My therapeutic approach is person-centred, empathetic, engaging, and down to earth. I draw from various evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Compassion-Based Strategies, and Attachment Theory.

Within these interventions, I aim to provide strategies to help you navigate difficult emotions; detach from unhelpful beliefs about self and others; and reconnect with your goals and values to support you toward the life you not only want but are also deserving of.
